My friend Brett needed to go to the Apple Store on 5th Avenue to get his phone fixed, but his appointment was after midnight (thank god there’s a 24/7 Apple Store in “The City That Never Sleeps”). I jumped at the chance to take photos and drive around Manhattan late at night — and on a quiet weekday, no less — where pretty much everything else is closed, nobody is out, and the streets are relatively empty save for a few cabs looking for passengers. The city is eerily serene during these late hours, and I was fortunate enough take some good photos without worrying too much about the busy New York traffic or getting in the way of pedestrians.
